Women of the Well is not built by one person or by one gift. It is built by a community. People who believe every woman deserves a second chance and are willing to show up for it. Here is how you can be part of what we are building.
Your financial gift - of any size - helps us acquire land, build the campus, launch the pilot program, and fund scholarships for women who cannot afford care. The First Bucket Campaign is our two-year capital campaign to raise $3.2 million. Every dollar moves us closer to opening day.
We need people, not just money. From program support and administrative help, to construction and event volunteers, there is a role here for almost anyone who wants to serve. All volunteers undergo a background check and orientation before working with residents.
If you know a woman who is struggling with addiction, abuse, or trauma, or you work in a field that brings you into contact with women in crisis, we want to hear from you. Whether she is ready today or just beginning to consider recovery, we will walk with her from wherever she is.
We are building a network of churches, treatment providers, legal and judicial partners, and local businesses who believe in what Women of the Well is doing. Formal partnerships can take many forms - from monthly giving commitments and volunteer teams to referral agreements and in-kind support.

Volunteers are not a supplement to Women of the Well - they are part of the fabric of it. Our residents benefit enormously from consistent, caring adults who show up and give their time. And our volunteers consistently tell us that the giving goes both ways.
We are looking for people who can help in the following areas;
All volunteers who work directly with residents must complete a background check and attend a volunteer orientation. We take the safety and dignity of every woman in our program seriously - and we ask our volunteers to do the same.
Women of the Well accepts referrals from a wide range of sources - including the legal and judicial system, faith communities, treatment centers, mental health providers, hospitals, family members, and self-referrals.
The women we serve are 18 years of age or older and are seeking recovery from Substance Use Disorder, abuse, trauma or some combination of all three. We give priority to low-income women and those in rural and underserved areas of North Georgia. Our scholarship program ensures that finances are never the reason a woman cannot receive care.
If you work in the legal system, healthcare, social services. or another field that brings you into contact with women who need recovery support, we would like to establish a formal referral relationship. We maintain strict compliance with 42 CFR Part 2 confidentiality regulations and will work within your organization's referral protocols.
To discuss a formal referral partnership, please contact us at womenofthewellrecovery@gmail.com or use the contact form at the bottom of this page.
If someone you love is struggling, you do not have to navigate this alone. Reach out to us - even if she is not ready yet. We can talk with you about what to expect, how to have the conversation, and what Women of the Well can offer when the time comes.
If you are reading this for yourself - welcome. You do not have to have everything figured out to reach out. You do not have to be at rock bottom. You just have to be willing to take one step. Contact us and let us take it with you.
The church is not a bystander to the recovery crisis in North Georgia. It is one of the most powerful forces for healing available - and Women of the Well is designed to be a bridge between the faith community and the women who need it most.
We are actively building partnerships with local, regional, and denominational church bodies, and we have designed a tiered partnership model that makes it easy for any congregation to find a meaningful role.
To begin a church partnership conversation, please contact us at womenofthewellrecovery@gmail.com. We will make it easy, meaningful, and worth your congregation's investment.
Local businesses, family foundations, and civic organizations can partner with Women of the Well through financial sponsorship, in-kind donations, employee volunteer programs, and event sponsorship. We provide full documentation for corporate charitable giving and are happy to recognize partners publicly in ways that align with your organization's values.
For media inquiries, speaking requests, or grant-related correspondence, please use the contact form above or email us directly. We will respond within two business days. Or if you need immediate response please give us a call at 706-444-2963.
Women of the Well will be built one gift, one volunteer, one prayer, and one partnership at a time. Thank you for being willing to be a part of it.
